WALT answer comprehension questions and actively seek to extend of new vocabulary. I found this easy to answer the range of questions it was asking me because some answers were in the text and some I knew. My next steps are keep working on my vocabulary.

Reflection In this activity I was learning to answer a range of comprehensions questions to show I understood the text. I found this tricky because the text was hard for me and I wasn't sure of for's and against plastic. I asked the teacher and I now understand. I need to keep working on my comprehension

WALT find information about Matariki. I found this tricky to answer the range of question but the websites helped me.  My next steps are to find more information about Matariki.  I enjoyed doing the slide presentation.  I learnt that Matariki means the eyes of god.

I found this easy to find the dates for the celebration.

What I learnt about Matariki

Reflection In this activity I did a padlet about Matariki. I learnt what time of year Matariki is celebrated. If the stars are clear and bright it is going to be a good year for growing crops. I enjoyed doing my padlet and would like to do another one.
